Draw the line. Don't take on any of the tasks below unless you're ready.
Every Wednesday we work on paperwork.
If you didn't do your bills last week, start there. If you're caught up, grab the first available stack of papers and for 5 minutes go through one at a time categorizing for the garbage can (keep it next to your chair), for filing, and for things you need to get done. In the next five minutes, file as many papers as you can and get done what you can. Finally, grab paper and pen to make an errand and shopping list to use tomorrow. Never leave the house without a list.
Zoning in: Bedroom. Take 15 minutes to do a crapclear of the top of your dresser. First grab everything that's garbage and toss it. Next, take any dirty glasses or dishes to the kitchen. Then put away the clothes stacked there. If you still have time, tackle the jewelry and coins sitting there. (If it's someone else's money, claim it for yourself. Finders Keepers.) If your timer still hasn't run down, dust your cleared nightstands or start relocating items you swept from your bed into a laundry basket on Monday.
HabithackerHealth: 15 minutes of heart happy exercise. That's easy.
January's Habit: Polish your place.
